NEW YORK, November 25, 2024<\/strong> – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented Emmys to television creators and performers from ten countries at the 52nd International Emmy\u00ae Awards tonight in New York City. The Gala was attended by television professionals from around the world and hosted by stand-up comedian and actor Vir Das.<\/p>\n The Founders Emmy\u00ae was presented to David E. Kelley, the prolific writer and producer behind iconic shows such as Ally McBeal, L.A. Law and Big Little Lies by Michael Pressman, Co-Executive Producer of Kelley\u2019s shows Picket Fences and Chicago Hope.<\/p>\n The Directorate Award was presented to Sidonie Dumas, CEO Gaumont by actor & producer Omar Sy, star of hit show Lupin.<\/p>\n \u201cIn these turbulent times, television is definitely an art form that brings people from around the world together – no matter their culture or language.\u201d said International Academy President & CEO Bruce L.
