New York, November 5, 2019 –<\/strong> The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences today announced its Host & Special Awards presenter line-up.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
Stand-up comedian and actor Ronny Chieng, a correspondent on The Daily Show with Trevor Noah<\/em> and star of Crazy Rich Asians<\/em>, will host the 47th International Emmy Awards Gala, on Monday, November 25, in New York City. Born in Malaysia, and raised in the United States and Singapore; Chieng has sold out multiple global stand-up comedy theater tours in Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, India, Canada and the United Kingdom. He also co-wrote and starred in his own television comedy series “Ronny Chieng: International Student<\/em>” which aired on ABC Australia, the BBC, Comedy Central Asia and Comedy Central in the US, Chieng is set to release his upcoming Netflix comedy special in December. \u00a0<\/div>\n

Businesswoman, philanthropist, author and former model Iman will present the Directorate Award to CNN Chief International Anchor Christiane Amanpour.\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0<\/div>\n
\u00a0Actor Conleth Hill, known worldwide for his role as Lord Varys in Game of Thrones<\/em> will present the Founders Award to the show’s Creators and Showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. Lord Varys, present until the final season, plays a pivotal role in many of the series’ plot twists.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
