2017 International Emmy\u00ae News & Current Affairs Winners Announced<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

New York, October 5, 2017<\/strong> – The 2017 International Emmy for News was presented tonight to Inside Aleppo – Battle for Aleppo<\/em> (United Kingdom). The Emmy for Current Affairs was presented to Exposure: Saudi Arabia Uncovered<\/em> (United Kingdom). The International Emmys were presented by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences in conjunction with the US News Emmys during a ceremony which took place at Lincoln Center, in New York City.<\/p>\n

Inside Aleppo – Battle for Aleppo<\/em> produced by ITN \/ Channel 4 News, won the News category. This story covers the battle for Aleppo-the most brutal in the five-year Syrian war. Exposure: Saudi Arabia Uncovered<\/em> produced by Hardcash Productions \/ ITV \/ WGBH\/Frontline won the Current Affairs category.
