37th INTERNATIONAL EMMY\u00ae AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED<\/span><\/h1>\n

Cannes\/MIPCOM, October 5, 2009<\/strong> \u2014Henry Kissinger, the former US Secretary of State and Nobel Peace Prize Winner will be attending The 37th International Emmy Awards Gala, on November 23rd, 2009, in New York City to present the 2009 International Emmy Directorate Award, announced Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. Professor Markus Sch\u00e4chter, Director General ZDF will accept the award.<\/p>\n

\u201cWe are delighted to have Dr. Kissinger join The International Academy in recognizing Markus Sch\u00e4chter\u2019s leadership and achievements as Germany commemorates the 60th Anniversary of the establishment of its Federal Republic, said Paisner. \u201cThe International Academy is delighted that a German born American who participated in and shaped so much of the world\u2019s recent history will present this momentous award.\u201d<\/p>\n

The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences is a membership based organization comprised of leading media and entertainment figures from over 50 countries and 500 companies from all sectors of television including internet, mobile and technology.
