2020 INTERNATIONAL EMMY\u00ae AWARDS NOMINEES SPAN 20 COUNTRIES<\/p>\n<\/h1>\n

New York, September 24, 2020<\/strong> – Nominations for the 2020 International Emmy<\/span>\u00ae<\/sup><\/span> Awards were announced today by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. There are 44 Nominees across 11 categories and 20 countries. The full list of Nominees follows this release. All these programs were broadcast between January 1 and December 31, 2019; in accordance with the competition\u2019s eligibility period. <\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cCongratulations to all the Nominees! – we are especially proud to recognize and honor the world\u2019s best storytellers, producers and performers,\u201d said Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. \u201cAt a time of crisis where most of us have to stay home most of the time, television entertains us and provides a window on our world.\u201d <\/span><\/p>\n

Nominees come from: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, China, Colombia, Czech Republic, France, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Japan, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, the United Kingdom & the United States. <\/span><\/p>\n

All nominated program trailers and exclusive Nominee interviews will be featured online during the International Emmy World Television Festival from November 13 to 23 on the International Academy\u2019s website www.iemmys.tv<\/span><\/a><\/span>. <\/span><\/p>\n

Winners will be announced at a Ceremony produced from New York City, on Monday, November 23, 2020, details of which will be announced in October.<\/span><\/p>\n

This year\u2019s Gala partners are: Phoenix Satellite Television, TV Globo, Portable.TV, Ay Yapim, Ernst & Young, Miptv, Sofitel Hotel NY and Variety. <\/span><\/p>\n
