New York, September 23, 2021\u00a0<\/strong>– Nominations for the 2021 International Emmy\u00ae Awards were announced today by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. There are 44 Nominees across 11 categories and spanning a record number of 24 countries. The full list of Nominees follows this release.<\/div>\n

\u201cWe are so proud of our Nominees and the record-breaking number of countries,\u201d said International Academy President & CEO Bruce Paisner. \u201cTo those who feared the pandemic would slow TV production around the world, this is your answer.\u201d<\/div>\n

Nominees come from: Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Egypt, France, India, Israel, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Thailand, the United Kingdom & the United States.<\/div>\n

Actress Menna Shalaby garnered the first ever Emmy\u00ae nomination from Egypt for her performance in the crime mini-series\u00a0Every Week Has a Friday.<\/div>\n

All nominated program trailers and exclusive Nominee interviews will be featured online during the International Emmy\u00ae World Television Festival from November 12 to 22 on the International Academy\u2019s website\u00a0www.iemmys.tv<\/a>.<\/div>\n
