New York, September 28, 2021 –<\/strong> The 2021 International Emmy\u00ae for News was presented tonight to A Warning from Italy (Sky News, United Kingdom). In 2020, when coronavirus spread from the far-east, Italy overtook China as the epicenter. Yet nobody knew what this looked like \u2013 until, for the first time, Sky News revealed the horrific scale of the crisis in this world exclusive coverage.<\/div>\n

The International Emmy\u00ae for Current Affairs was presented to In Cold Blood (Exposure) (DSP\/ITV, United Kingdom). In Cold Blood examines the biggest treatment disaster in NHS history, a tragedy which killed more people than Grenfell, Hillsborough, 7\/7 and the Birmingham bombings combined. Yet its scale and impact has until now been relatively understated in Britain.<\/div>\n

Both International Emmys were presented by the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences as part of an online ceremony with the National Academy\u2019s US News Emmys.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
