JASON PRIESTLEY TO HOST 39TH INTERNATIONAL EMMY® AWARDS

PRESENTERS TO INCLUDE ARCHIE PANJABI, ALLY SHEEDY, JOHN LARROQUETTE, JEFF HEPHNER, RICHARD PARSONS, DANNY PINO, KELLY RUTHERFORD, JESSICA SZOHR, BLANCA SOTO, WENDY WILLIAMS AND DRAGON BALL Z’S GOKU

 

New York, November 14th, 2011 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today that Jason Priestley will host the 39th International Emmy® Awards, joined on stage by a cast of international celebrity presenters. The annual award gala will take place Monday, November 21st at the Hilton New York.

Additionally, the Academy announced that Richard Parsons, Citigroup chairman and former chairman and CEO of Time Warner, along with actress Archie Panjabi (The Good Wife) will present the International Emmy Directorate Award to media moghul and founder of ZEE TV India, Subhash Chandra.

Actor, director and producer Priestley (Call Me Fitz, Bag of Bones, Beverly Hills 90210) will return as host for the second consecutive year. He will be joined on stage by Parsons, Panjabi and a cast of presenters including, to date: John Larroquette, Ally Sheedy, Jeff Hephner (Starz’ Boss), Edward Herrmann (Gilmore Girls), Danny Pino (NBC’s Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Kelly Rutherford (CW Network’s Gossip Girl), Jessica Szohr (Gossip Girl); Rick Hoffmann (Suits); Blanca Soto (Univision’s Eva Luna and El Talismán), Wendy Williams (host of syndicated talk show The Wendy Williams Show), Brazilian actor Vladimir Brichta and Goku and Luffy (characters from Toei Animation’s animated hit Dragon Ball Z and One Piece).
