JESSICA LANGE TO PRESENT RYAN MURPHY WITH 2012 INTERNATIONAL EMMY® FOUNDERS AWARD AT 40TH INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARDS

New York, November 15, 2012 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today that 2 time Academy Award winner and 2 time Emmy winner, Jessica Lange, star of American Horror Story will present the 2012 International Emmy Founders Award to Ryan Murphy at the 40th International Emmy® Awards, on Monday, November 19 at the Hilton New York.

To celebrate the Academy’s anniversary Ryan Murphy will present the 40th Anniversary Special Founders Award to television legends Norman Lear (All in The Family) and Alan Alda (M*A*S*H*) while Musician/Producer/Entrepreneur J.Y. Park will present the 2012 International Emmy Directorate Award to Korean Broadcasting System President & CEO, also President of Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union, Dr. Kim In-Kyu.

Host Regis Philbin will be joined on stage by Jessica Lange, Ryan Murphy, Alan Alda, Norman Lear, JY. Park and a cast of presenters including, to date: Victor Garber (NBC’s mid-season Deception, Argo & Titanic), Donnie Wahlberg (Blue Bloods), Bridget Moynahan (Blue Bloods), Kelly Rutherford (Gossip Girl), Matthew Settle (Gossip Girl); Rachael Taylor (666 Park Avenue), Pat Mitchell (Paley Center President & CEO and Host of At the Paley Center), Cheyenne Jackson (The Performers, Price Check). The International Emmy® Awards recognize excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States. 1,000 international entertainment decision-makers from over 50 countries attend the International Emmy® Awards Gala in New York every year.
