JIMMY FALLON TO PRESENT LORNE MICHAELS WITH INTERNATIONAL EMMY DIRECTORATE AWARD ON NOVEMBER 22

OTHER PRESENTERS ON-STAGE AT 38TH INTERNATIONAL EMMY AWARDS INCLUDE ELISABETH MOSS, MELISSA JOAN HART, TONY GOLDWYN & ELI WALLACH

 

New York, November 17, 2010 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today that comedian Jimmy Fallon, Host of Late Night with Jimmy Fallon will present The International Emmy Directorate Award to Saturday Night Live Creator & Executive Producer Lorne Michaels in New York, on Monday, November 22nd at the 2010 International Emmy® Awards.

Actor Jason Priestley will host the international event which will also feature an international cast of celebrity presenters including: Elisabeth Moss (Mad Men), Melissa Joan Hart (Melissa & Joey), Tony Goldwyn (Conviction), Eli Wallach (Wall Street, Money Never Sleeps), Will Estes (Blue Bloods), Christine Ebersole (Royal Pains) and Brazilian Telenovela Star Alinne Moraes.

The other Special Award, the 2010 International Emmy® Founders.Award will be presented to X Factor and Got Talent Executive Producer, Simon Cowell.

The International Emmy ® Awards recognize excellence in television programming produced outside of the United States. 1,000 international entertainment decision-makers from over 50 countries attend the International Emmy ® Awards Gala in New York every year. This year’s partners include: Phoenix Satellite Television TV Globo, Microsoft, Dori Media, Ascent Media, MIPTV, Sofitel Luxury Hotels, Ernst & Young and Variety. Chip Quigley, Kingdom Entertainment, will produce the show for the 10th year in a row.
