Synopsis

Nour is caught up in a scandal after having an affair with a renowned writer. Intimidated by the harsh criticism of society, she is forced to change her name to Laila and announce her death while accepting to marry the mentally challenged Emad. Laila surrenders to her new difficult life, but one day she is visited by an old neighbor who starts violently harassing her until Emad kills him.
