Richard Plepler, Chairman & CEO of HBO to receive 2015 International Emmy Directorate Award

New York, May 20, 2015 – Richard Plepler, the Chairman & CEO of Home Box Office, Inc will receive the 2015 International Emmy® Directorate Award, on Monday, November 23, in New York City. Plepler presides over the world’s most successful pay TV service, providing HBO and Cinemax to over 127 million subscribers worldwide.

As Chairman and CEO Plepler is responsible for HBO’s overall management. Under Plepler’s leadership, HBO’s original productions continue to raise the bar with such innovative and critically acclaimed programming including: Girls, Veep, True Detective, Boardwalk Empire, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver and Game of Thrones. HBO and Cinemax programming is sold into over 150 countries worldwide.
