WINNERS ANNOUNCED FOR INTERNATIONAL EMMY® KIDS AWARDS

6 Winners Span 6 Countries: Chile, France, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands & The United Kingdom


NEW YORK, February 20, 2015 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced tonight the winners of the 3rd International Emmy® Kids Awards. Winning programs from Chile, France, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands and the United Kingdom are: Polseres Vermelles (The Red Band Society) (Kids:Series); Wild Kids (Kids: Non-Scripted Entertainment); Mike The Knight (Kids: Pre-School); Con Que Suenas? (What’s Your Dream? Season 2), (Kids: Factual); Jungle Bunch to the Rescue (Kids: Animation) and Alles Mag (Anything Goes), (Kids: TV-Movie/Mini-Series). “There is great responsibility associated with creating content for children, and tonight’s winning programs demonstrate the high standard of quality the world has every right to expect,” said International Academy President, Bruce L. Paisner.

The Emmy® statues were presented on stage by a distinguished cast including: Emma Kenney (Shameless), Evan Roe (Madam Secretary), Brennan Clost (The Next Step). Ashley Aufderheide (The Slap) co-presenting with Hasbro’s Twilight Sparkle, Swedish kids programming host Doreen Mansson, German pre-school character Die Maus from WDR’s The Show with The Mouse and actress Marie Nasemann from WDR’s new kids series Armin’s Secret.

Over 250 international industry executives attended the event, held at Pier 60 at Chelsea Piers, in New York City.

The International Emmy® Kids Awards presenting partners are: Shaw Rocket Fund, Hasbro Studios, SVT/DRTV, TV Kids, WDR mediagroup, Junior@MipTV and Ernst & Young.

2015 International Digital Emmy® Awards Nominees Announced

Emmys to be Presented at 10th Edition of Awards Ceremony at MIPTV

Nominated Programs From 7 Countries to be Showcased at MIP Digital Fronts

New York, February 17, 2015 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today that nominees from 7 countries will  compete for this year’s International Digital Emmy® Awards.
 
There are 12 nominees in 3 categories, Digital Program:  Children & Young People; Digital Program: Fiction and Digital Program: Non-Fiction. The full list of Nominees from: Brazil, Canada, Germany, Japan, Malaysia, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom follows this release.
 
All nominated programs will be showcased at MIP Digital Fronts, during a special session, sponsored by the Bell Fund of Canada and designed to give MIPTV participants the opportunity to see excerpts of the programs and meet the nominees.
 
“The Academy is proud to showcase and recognize the world’s best digital programs, producers, and creators for a tenth year at MipTV,” said Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. “The 2015 nominees once again embody the cutting edge of digital creativity.”
 
Winners will be presented with their Emmys at the tenth International Digital Emmy® Awards ceremony, sponsored by the Bell Fund of Canada, during MIPTV’s Opening night festivities on Monday, April 13, in Cannes, at the Grand Hyatt Martinez Hotel. Over 200 international executives across all sectors of the mobile, entertainment, and internet industries, are expected to attend.
