NEW YORK, November 24, 2025 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences presented Emmys to television creators and performers from nine countries at the 53rd International Emmy® Awards tonight in New York City. The Gala was attended by television professionals from around the world and hosted by Live with Kelly and Mark co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos.

The Founders Emmy® was presented to Dana Walden, Co-Chairman of Disney Entertainment, whose three-decade career has championed creative excellence, supporting the visionary storytellers behind some of the most celebrated series in television history, including 24, Glee, Grey’s Anatomy, Homeland, and This Is Us.

The Directorate Award was presented to João Roberto Marinho, Chairman and President of Grupo Globo, honoring his leadership in strengthening the group’s legacy of independent journalism and cultural impact, by TV Globo news anchor William Bonner and Brazilian actress Lilia Cabral.

“In a world that often feels uncertain, television continues to serve as a powerful force for connection across cultures and borders,” said International Academy President & CEO Bruce L. Paisner. “This year’s winners, spanning the globe from Japan and Germany to Australia and Türkiye, reflect the extraordinary diversity of voices and the outstanding programs and performances that define the very best of global television.”

In addition to the 2 Special Awards, 16 Emmy® statues were presented by the International Academy during the evening.

KELLY RIPA AND MARK CONSUELOS, CO-HOSTS OF “LIVE WITH KELLY AND MARK,” TO HOST INTERNATIONAL EMMY® AWARDS IN NEW YORK, NOVEMBER 24


New York, November 20, 2025 – The International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced today that Live with Kelly and Mark co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos will host the International Emmy® Awards, on Monday, November 24, 2025, in New York City.

“Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos are beloved figures in television, admired not only for their extraordinary careers but for the humor and authenticity they bring to audiences every day,” said Bruce L. Paisner, President & CEO of the International Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. “We are thrilled to welcome them on November 24 as hosts of this year’s Gala and to help us celebrate excellence in television from around the world.”

Ripa is one of the most powerful voices in media, with a diverse body of work both on and off camera. A household name for more than 30 years, actress and New York Times bestselling author, Ripa is also host of the SiriusXM podcast Let’s Talk Off Camera with Kelly Ripa, now in its second season. Her 2022 memoir, Live Wire: Long-Winded Short Stories, debuted on the New York Times Best Sellers list. Throughout her career, Ripa has won 8 Daytime Emmy® Awards and was honored in 2024 as a Time Person of the Year.

Consuelos, an accomplished actor, producer, and host, is known for his nearly 30-year career in television, film, and theater. His recent work includes roles in ABC’s 911, Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, FX’s American Horror Story, and HBO Max’s The Girls on the Bus. He is widely recognized for his portrayal of Hiram Lodge on Riverdale, as well as memorable performances in A Walk Among the Tombstones and Nine Lives.

Live with Kelly and Mark is the #1 entertainment talk show on television. Together, they earned the 2024 Daytime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series Hosts and the 2025 Daytime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Daytime Talk Series.

Ripa and Consuelos also co-founded Milojo Productions, a New York–based production company dedicated to telling meaningful, high-quality stories across scripted, unscripted, and documentary formats. Their recent projects include the ESPN Original Series Running with the Wolves, chronicling their real-life experience as owners of the Italian soccer club Campobasso FC.

Over 1000 international media and entertainment executives convene in New York each year for the International Emmy® Awards Gala and International Emmy® World Television Festival.
